Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will get his biggest chance to put himself in the ranks of the best boxers in the world today when he collides with Floyd Mayweather Jr in September 14 in Las Vegas as they both wins in their May 4 fight.
Alvarez, who has been vocal about his willingness to slug it out against Mayweather Jr, will finally get his wish and he looks determined to shock the world next year. The 22-year-old Mexican, who holds an impressive 42-0-1 record, is the current World Boxing Council light middleweight champion.
Alvarez is coming off a unanimous victory over Austin Trout last April 20 in San Antonio Texas. Earlier this year, Alvarez also scored a sensational knock down win over Josesito Lopez last September.
